Tamoxifen citrate (nolvadex D) useful info.

Tamoxifen citrate is the active ingredient in Nolvadex. It is a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM).  Aside from treating breast cancer, it is also usually taken by bodybuilders and sportsmen to prevent gynecomastia. It is also used for many other purposes. Nolvadex (tamoxifen) binds selectively to specific estrogen receptors. The active ingredient tamoxifen prevents unwanted side-effects like gyno by effectively blocking estrogen. It doesn’t lower estrogen levels in the blood, but merely blocks it from binding to specific receptors. This mechanism also regulates blood fat levels.

Tamoxifen doses.

Therefore, Tamoxifen should be used in HCG therapy. the dose is usually 20 mg daily. If you see signs of gynecomastia, Tamoxifen can be used during a cycle. It’s mostly used to block the estrogen spike when you come off-cycle. It should be used right through to conclusion until natural levels are regained.

Tamoxifen side effects.

One considerable drawback of Nolvadex is that it can cause progesterone receptors to eventually become more sensitive. This means that while using progestins such as Nandrolone Decanoate or Trenbolone, you may become more sensitive to progestin-related gyno. Gynecomastia is a type of growth in the mammary gland. If issues of gynecomastia appear during a cycle, the usage of 20 to 30 mg of Nolvadex should take good care of the issue. This amount of Nolvadex should be used until several days after symptoms subside. These precautions are taken to be safe. Using anti-aromatase inhibitors or estrogens during cycle will usually not lessen your gains. However, it is not advised to use both at the same time. Unless associated symptoms show up predisposition to gynecomastia, or those using exceptionally aromatizing materials.

Other uses of nolvadex.

For treatment of breast cancer, Nolvadex (Tamoxifen citrate) is supposed to be taken as suggested by your doctor. The dosage is generally determined by the patient’s present state and his body’s reaction to treatment. It is strongly suggested that the drug is administered at similar time(s) every day.
It’s also well-suited for people who are under a steroid cycle and need steroids effective in converting estrogen. The level of testosterone production that have been curbed for the span of the cycle should be brought back to normal once steroid administration is ended. Post-cycle therapy (PCT) should begin promptly if oral steroids were used. If water or brief-working ester-based injectable steroids were used, PCT should begin within 4-7 days after the final shot was made. If more active esters were used, PCT should begin 1.5-3 weeks after last injection.  This is determined by the particular steroid used. PCT usually spans between 3-5 weeks. A typical guideline is: the longer the medication was cycled, the longer the PCT should be. When used correctly, Nolvadex can help athletes normalize all other variables reasonably rapidly. It can help regain natural production. Nolvadex and clomid doses are tapered down.

Standard tamoxifen Post Cycle Therapy for Bodybuilders.

Week 1 (or 2): 40-50 milligrams of Nolvadex every day.
Week 2 (or 3) – Week 4 (or 5): 20-25mg of Nolvadex daily.

Tamoxifen Additional info.

Either nolvadex or clomid can also be used on-cycle as anti-estrogens and post-cycle to help normalize testosterone production quickly.
The amount used would depend on what effect the user want to generate. More would certainly generate a more powerful effect. But users should discover how much they need by working their way upwards starting at lower dosages, to avoid using more than the desirable effect needed. It is good idea to begin early in the cycle for those using Nolvadex during cycle for all those using steroids with exceptionally aromatizing materials (like testosterone suspension), or those who are susceptible to estrogen.
